Google Cloud Announces Job Opening For its Web3.0 Team

In a bid to create more awareness for its Web3.0 initiative which was recently added to Google Cloud, Google has announced that the company is seeking new talents to join its team and improve its marketing and advertising strategies. The job role was dubbed “Head of Product Advertising and Marketing” and the functions to be carried out include building up customers’ demand for the company’s offerings.

Earlier in Q1, the tech giant made an attempt to improve the functionality of its product by introducing blockchain technology. The company had begun research on the benefits of integrating the new tech, including features of Web3.0 into its core products. After much consideration, Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc. decided to move with the trend and accept blockchain tech.

Still upgrading and upscaling its functionality, on May 6 Amit Zavery, the Vice President and General Manager of Google Cloud sent out emails to its staff to declare that Google had commissioned a product and an engineering team to take care of developers’ needs. He further shared his vision with the employees stating that he intends to make Google Cloud the first choice for developers.

Amit also mentioned that most of its users are clamoring for the company’s support on Web 3.0 and other crypto-inclined technologies. This led to more job opportunity postings on the internal site of the tech company.

Evolution of Web3.0 Beyond Google Cloud

The Web3.0 blockchain has gradually evolved and is currently making waves globally, especially the new trend of firms introducing programs that encourage women to join the metaverse. In February, Unstoppable Domains floated a Web 3.0 initiative specifically for women, and this led to setting aside about $10 million worth of Web3.0 domain names.

The Women of Web3.0 Initiative was organized in collaboration with Google Cloud and other firms like Alchemy, Algorand, Binance US, and some others.

A non-fungible token (NFT) of the sculpture on Broad Street called the Fearless Girl was also inaugurated recently. According to the sculptor, Kristen Visbal, the NFT was designed to encourage the participation of women in Web 3.0. and eradicate gender inequality in workplaces.
