Binance Partners With France’s Station F in a €100M Deal to Promote Web3 Initiatives


Globally renowned cryptocurrency exchange firm, Binance has announced its presence in the France blockchain ecosystem through a partnership with STATION F, a Web3 accelerator.

The deal is worth about €100 million and will seek to help develop new businesses in the crypto sphere. According to the media release, the partnership will enable start-ups to benefit from the support of NFT Labs, BNB Chain, and Binance Labs so as to help them groom their ideas.

The CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao confirmed this news while giving his opening speech at the Paris Blockchain Week Summit, noting further that the country is poised to be the frontline mover in the blockchain ecosystem in Europe.

The handpicked startup firms will benefit from the following; Free shelter all through the period of building capacity on the technical know-how of the blockchain space and access to resources; Mentorship programs as well as follow-up sessions; and Meetings with key players in the crypto ecosystem among others.

Speaking on the partnership, the Director of STATION F, Roxanne Varza said they are very much delighted to collaborate with the leading crypto exchange in the world, adding that, “for all the people willing to better understand blockchain and crypto, we hope this place will help them to enter the Web3 world”.

Binance has led numerous innovations as well as sealed many partnership deals with various companies in the blockchain industry. Last week, the United States branch of the firm raised a sum of $200 million in a seed funding round, fixing the overall valuation of the company at a total of $4.5 billion.

Binance has also recently gotten licenses to operate in Middle Eastern nations such as Dubai, Bahrain, and Abu Dhabi legalizing the firm’s status to offer cryptocurrency services in the regions.

Asides from expanding the shores of the company to various nations of the world, the crypto exchange is also driven by the passion to render charitable support to as many organizations and nations that need it. It is achieving this through its donation arm, Binance Charity.
